Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Matei Chivu got free with Juvenal Escurza in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matei Chivu in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Escurza saved Raïmat from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Raïmat's goalkeeper Juvenal Escurza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Chivu. 11 minutes into the game, Raïmat's Laurgain De la Torre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Gene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montxo Quevedo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juvenal Escurza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Chivu in the 23rd minute. If Matei Chivu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Asier Mayol came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mardy Bum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asier Mayol couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Asier Mayol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Escurza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mardy Bum's Matei Chivu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 37 minutes of play Raïmat's Montxo Quevedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Montxo Quevedo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Asier Mayol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 46 minutes into the game, Paulin Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raïmat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mardy Bum the free kick. A collision led to Raïmat getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paulin Mata hit a great ball. When Matei Chivu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mardy Bum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Chivu couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Chivu made a kick off. If Laurgain De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Escurza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Chivu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Paulin Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Matei Chivu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Escurza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raïmat's Juvenal Escurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asier Mayol in the 64th minute of play. Juvenal Escurza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Chivu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Laurgain De la Torre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raïmat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurgain De la Torre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Gene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Barrientos in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Raïmat got a freekick which was hit by Quilino Huguet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asier Mayol in the 75th minute of play forced Raïmat's goalkeeper Juvenal Escurza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Matei Chivu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Juvenal Escurza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asier Mayol struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Juvenal Escurza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mardy Bum. 87 minutes into the match, Mardy Bum's Asier Mayol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Escurza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Matei Chivu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mardy Bum's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Chivu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Escurza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asier Mayol struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Juvenal Escurza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mardy Bum. When Mardy Bum's Matei Chivu in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raïmat's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Mardy Bum players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
