Gencay Öktemer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gencay Öktemer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Atletico Urda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Askarraga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Gencay Öktemer scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Barba, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Calvo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Barba saved Askarraga from getting behind. Benedicto Barba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Calvo in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Urda booed when Askarraga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafo Campello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Anibal Calvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Urda's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Calvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Barba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Anibal Calvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Barba came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Urda's Román Jurado. But to his dismay, Román Jurado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anibal Calvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Urda's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Calvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Barba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Anibal Calvo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benedicto Barba to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Calvo in the 44th minute of play forced Askarraga's goalkeeper Benedicto Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Gencay Öktemer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Barba was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Askarraga's zone, Román Jurado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Barba came out of the goal and Román Jurado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Calvo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Barba saved Askarraga from getting behind. The supporters of Askarraga booed when Atletico Urda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mino Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anibal Calvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Jurado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play, Askarraga's Curro Alonso made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81stth minute of the game Román Jurado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Askarraga's Benedicto Barba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Jurado in the 82nd minute of play forced Askarraga's goalkeeper Benedicto Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Anibal Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Barba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Chinto Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Urda made a substitution. Miliano Llinares replaced Mino Herrera. After 90 played minutes Atletico Urda got a freekick which was hit by Chinto Quiroga. Benedicto Barba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Román Jurado's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Atletico Urda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
