In the 16th minute Giraldo Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Muxia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alifonso Zurica was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Muxia's goal looked a bit too open when Quico Duarte came free, but Orlan Saavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Quico Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlan Saavedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 76 minutes Muxia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lalo Calatayud who took care of the corner kick. Orlan Saavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quico Duarte in the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Feliu Pascua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Casas De Alenda FC's Lalo Calatayud broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 92nd minute Florian Cazorla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlan Saavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florian Cazorla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
