The supporters of Casas De Alenda FC booed when Guntin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Midas Sacristán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Benítez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Gniewek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etor Navas having to interfere. When Zeledon Benítez got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Etor Navas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Delmar Cameno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casas De Alenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guntin the free kick. A collision led to Casas De Alenda FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Delmar Cameno hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Gniewek in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Etor Navas saved Casas De Alenda FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute Quico Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poncio Arratia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zeledon Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Zeledon Benítez could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Etor Navas however easily saved by the left post. Casas De Alenda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Emil Gniewek scored to the left of an out of position Etor Navas, making the score, 1-0. Viorel Ghita's late challenge caught a Casas De Alenda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Ghita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Viorel Ghita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Midas Sacristán in the 40th minute really tested Etor Navas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With his leg Etor Navas managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Guntin's Zeledon Benítez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Benítez got free with Etor Navas in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Guntin defense, Serafín Cabanela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Poncio Arratia. The Guntin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Poncio Arratia should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Etor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Casas De Alenda FC's goalkeeper Etor Navas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Benítez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Etor Navas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Serafín Cabanela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casas De Alenda FC and the Guntin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafín Cabanela hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Etor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Benítez in the 66th minute of the match. During the 67th minute of the match Delmar Cameno completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Delmar Cameno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute, Delmar Cameno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Casas De Alenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Benítez came free, but Etor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emil Gniewek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Serafín Cabanela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casas De Alenda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafín Cabanela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poncio Arratia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guntin's Emil Gniewek got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zeledon Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Benítez in the 90th minute of the match. When Guntin's Zeledon Benítez in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casas De Alenda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Etor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Gniewek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casas De Alenda FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Guntin had controlled the match.
