In the 19thth minute of the game Andrin Vega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fuencaliente De La Palma's Aquilino Iglesias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Iglesias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ospin Domenech, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cordarell Buendia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Velasco took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Iglesias. Aquilino Iglesias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Florian Piekarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Cordarell Buendia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Iglesias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Escarla's Leroy Soler got control of the ball when Gabon Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fuencaliente De La Palma's Aquilino Iglesias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarell Buendia in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, one of Fuencaliente De La Palma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fuencaliente De La Palma. The referee gave Escarla a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cordarell Buendia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fuencaliente De La Palma's Aquilino Iglesias. 0-3. If Anastasio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xove Coira was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Iglesias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Leroy Soler came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fuencaliente De La Palma's Xove Coira. But to his dismay, Xove Coira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Aquilino Iglesias was a little too slow when Anastasio Velasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-4. Louis Amorebieta kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Leroy Soler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulian Galdamez, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Escarla booed when Fuencaliente De La Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulian Galdamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Fuencaliente De La Palma's goal looked a bit too open when Andrin Vega came free, but Aquilino Iglesias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Fuencaliente De La Palma's goalkeeper Aquilino Iglesias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrin Vega. 86 minutes into the match, Escarla's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Amorebieta came free, but Leroy Soler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Anastasio Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquilino Iglesias. That made the score 1-6 in the 88 minute of play. With a little luck, Fuencaliente De La Palma's Aquilino Iglesias got control of the ball when Cordarell Buendia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Fuencaliente De La Palma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Escarla were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
