In the 12th minute, Edilberto Iglesias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nastic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roi Bernal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Nastic de Tarragona defense, Cresconio Clemente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roi Bernal. The Nastic de Tarragona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roi Bernal should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Gabriel Macia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roi Bernal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Roi Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donatello Valdivia made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Donatello Valdivia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Isidro Laredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nastic de Tarragona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mel Negro 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Cresconio Clemente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Macia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roi Bernal was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Cresconio Clemente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Macia might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roi Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Macia ran back to his position shaking his head. Cresconio Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, Nastic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Licerio Zapico to maneuver through the defense. Nastic de Tarragona's Roi Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Nastic de Tarragona from getting a goal against them. Nastic de Tarragona's Fernan Cao got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Itziar SAD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
