After a defensive mix-up in Herreruela De Oropesa AD's zone, Kasper Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Roca came out of the goal and Kasper Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kasper Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Giraldo Vallejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xian Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Nerio Galdamez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xian Balboa. Fonapensên FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nerio Galdamez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Xian Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Roca came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Fonapensên FC's Kasper Eklund. But to his dismay, Kasper Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Lorenzo Roca was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Andrés-Fernando Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrés-Fernando Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. If Kasper Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esquipula Soler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Roca having to interfere.
