The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Alegia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Duran to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Castefa United's zone, Wilfredo Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Costa came out of the goal and Wilfredo Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregory Valdés's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Alegia FC's Dominic Gasso got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Castefa United defense, Gregory Valdés kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Costa. The Castefa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Costa should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Gregory Valdés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indalecio Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Indalecio Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Indalecio Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Alegia FC's Jesús Briso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Alegia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomé Gonzalvez came free, but Pietro Fresnos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesús Briso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Angelino Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Castefa United's zone, Jesús Briso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Costa came out of the goal and Jesús Briso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pietro Fresnos made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Liberto Barral sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Orlando Sarrate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Angelino Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pietro Fresnos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomé Gonzalvez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gregory Valdés managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alegia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Valdés was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alegia FC's Jesús Briso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelino Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Valdés in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Gregory Valdés made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gregory Valdés managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alegia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Valdés was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesús Briso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Costa having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Castefa United got a freekick which was hit by Laurin Montiel. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gregory Valdés managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alegia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Valdés was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Alegia FC's Jesús Briso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesús Briso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Angelino Costa made a huge save. Gregory Valdés fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Costa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Castefa United's Indalecio Alvarez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Angelino Costa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Wilfredo Cortes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Alegia FC's Gregory Valdés slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelino Costa. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alegia FC's zone, Bartolomé Gonzalvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With his leg Angelino Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Alegia FC's Jesús Briso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Castefa United defense, Jesús Briso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Costa. The Castefa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Costa should have stopped the shot.
