The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Atlètic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Marin came free, but Raúl Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Eriz Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Marcos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ivón Castelao sent off a good shot on target. Aniceto Machado hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ivón Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Froilan Marcos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Marcos made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ivón Castelao sent off a good shot on target. Atlètic FC's Ivón Castelao got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raúl Blazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Marin in the 41st minute of the match. Atlètic FC's Raúl Blazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Marin in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zosimo Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Marin might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raúl Blazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Atlètic FC booed when Outes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Outes FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
