The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Lacorte in the 7th minute of play forced Marisan's goalkeeper Matxin Bellido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garci March's late challenge caught a Solmar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garci March helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Marisan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Solmar:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 10 played minutes, when Solmar:s Ted Lara calmly waited for Marisan:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Xacintu Fuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Xacintu Fuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matxin Bellido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Urko Cordoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marisan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solmar the free kick. The supporters of Solmar booed when Marisan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urko Cordoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Ricardo Ucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Ucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Ucero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matxin Bellido. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ricardo Ucero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Ucero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matxin Bellido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marisan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Prospero Lacorte scored to the left of an out of position Matxin Bellido, making the score, 3-0. Henric Pabon hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ricardo Ucero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 35th playminute. Prospero Lacorte was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Solmar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Prospero Lacorte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Lacorte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Solmar's Juan-Alfredo Alfaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0.

Prospero Lacorte scored 7-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matxin Bellido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henric Pabon in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paco Alvarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Matxin Bellido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Juan-Alfredo Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matxin Bellido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matxin Bellido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Marcilla in the 62nd minute of the match. If Ricardo Ucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marisan defense, Ricardo Ucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matxin Bellido. The Marisan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matxin Bellido should have stopped the shot. Matxin Bellido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Lacorte, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Matxin Bellido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, Solmar's Ricardo Ucero made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matxin Bellido was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes, Solmar's Ted Lara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matxin Bellido came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Solmar reached it. When the referee ended the match the Solmar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
