Xamo Bravo struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Jose-Juan Olano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auria S.D.. Felipe Treviño took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose-Juan Olano. Jose-Juan Olano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Chan Briso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabián Castillo. That made the score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Auria S.D. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blasco Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Efren Cameno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Castillo having to interfere. The supporters of SPARTANS F.C booed when Auria S.D. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerico Higuera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chan Briso had several of the Auria S.D.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Fabián Castillo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chan Briso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Pareja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fabián Castillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Chan Briso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fabián Castillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Castillo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xamo Bravo was the one to do the kick off. Fabián Castillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Pareja went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Xiao Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose-Juan Olano. SPARTANS F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Auria S.D. defense, Natalio Pareja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabián Castillo. The Auria S.D. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabián Castillo should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Chan Briso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chan Briso got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for SPARTANS F.C. Chan Briso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Fabián Castillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Lagunas in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Pareja in the 73rd minute of play forced Auria S.D.'s goalkeeper Fabián Castillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Auria S.D.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Lagunas came free, but Fabián Castillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Natalio Pareja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabián Castillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Lagunas took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabián Castillo. Fabián Castillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Baltasar Lagunas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPARTANS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Lagunas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabián Castillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 99 minutes into the match, Baltasar Lagunas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabián Castillo. Auria S.D.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Lagunas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When the referee ended the match the SPARTANS F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
