If René Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Arbidel Urbieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iratxo Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The nice shot from Arbidel Urbieta in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Iratxo Ortiz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Echavarri in the 34th minute of play forced Silla's goalkeeper Iratxo Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Piugos SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Rua to maneuver through the defense.
