The audience was convinced that Cleto Domingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Encina was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Gorka Ricoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gregorio Casero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Cleto Domingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.Exilon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Peñia the free kick. Gorka Ricoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Casero having to interfere. If Gorka Ricoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio De Paula hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, La Peñia's Prometeo Solano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Casero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gregorio Casero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prometeo Solano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Domingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Encina having to interfere. After 32 played minutes La Peñia got a freekick which was hit by Prometeo Solano. Gorka Ricoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gregorio Casero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Tello Griego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Prometeo Solano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C.Exilon's Gregorio Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prometeo Solano in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vinicio De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Exilon's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio De Paula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Encina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Domingo to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Gregorio Casero managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when La Peñia's Gorka Ricoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prometeo Solano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Casero having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Gorka Ricoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Gregorio Casero however easily saved by the left post. Prometeo Solano struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gregorio Casero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Peñia. Gorka Ricoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Casero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, F.C.Exilon's goal looked a bit too open when Cucao Ponce came free, but Gregorio Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to F.C.Exilon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tello Griego hit a great ball. Gorka Ricoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Exilon's zone, Gorka Ricoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Casero came out of the goal and Gorka Ricoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. F.C.Exilon's Gregorio Casero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prometeo Solano in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, F.C.Exilon's goal looked a bit too open when Prometeo Solano came free, but Gregorio Casero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cleto Domingo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the F.C.Exilon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Domingo couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Casero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gorka Ricoy in the 99th minute. F.C.Exilon succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though La Peñia had controlled the match.
