One of Vadarkablar UD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Canarias C.F:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eufrasio Diez, was totally fooled by Canarias C.F's Nilson Carvalho, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Typhon Ponce De Leon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eufrasio Diez made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Canarias C.F's Danilo Litago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eufrasio Diez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Vadarkablar UD's Eufrasio Diez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Vadarkablar UD from getting a goal against them. Canarias C.F's Xerardo Cabrera got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sinforiano Verdeja made a kick off. Eufrasio Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo santillana in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vadarkablar UD's zone, Xerardo Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufrasio Diez came out of the goal and Xerardo Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efraín Obis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eufrasio Diez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Canarias C.F's Typhon Ponce De Leon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eufrasio Diez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Joanes Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Typhon Ponce De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bienvenido Cienfuegos couldn't finish the play. Eufrasio Diez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinforiano Verdeja in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Xerardo Cabrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eufrasio Diez. Vadarkablar UD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xerardo Cabrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Canarias C.F's Danilo Litago got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Canarias C.F getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Efraín Obis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Vagrande in the 96th minute of play forced Canarias C.F's goalkeeper Bazil Rienda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Canarias C.F were the better team. Canarias C.F's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
