The tension between the Anieves and the Wanchos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victorino Velasco hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Roldán Mora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anieves's Donatello Galego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donatello Galego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roldán Mora's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Wanchos FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Abejundio Salan hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Belarmo Dellasierra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Medardo Gala skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute, Aarón Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damario Carceles lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Damario Carceles kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Belarmo Dellasierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anieves's supporters rose to their feet, but Belarmo Dellasierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medardo Gala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Medardo Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Helguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salbatore Huguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Galego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Escobar in the 33rd minute of play forced Anieves's goalkeeper Donatello Galego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eskuin Cambero to make the kick off. Carlomagno Mezquita's late challenge caught a Wanchos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlomagno Mezquita helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Anieves got a freekick which was hit by Carlomagno Mezquita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskuin Cambero in the 59th minute of play forced Wanchos FC's goalkeeper Medardo Gala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Abejundio Salan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wanchos FC's Rafael Feria got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wanchos FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Anieves's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Feria took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Escobar in the 76th minute of play forced Anieves's goalkeeper Donatello Galego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aarón Quintanilla fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anieves's protests and gave Aarón Quintanilla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Aarón Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donatello Galego made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Salbatore Huguet sent off a good shot on target. Wanchos FC's Salbatore Huguet quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonathan Soto, made in the 83rd minute of the game. If Roque Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abejundio Salan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Roque Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wanchos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donatello Galego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salbatore Huguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Donatello Galego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donatello Galego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Wanchos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
