Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eskuin Cambero made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Gaibor's Iago Bouzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Galego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iago Bouzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donatello Galego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Romero in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Anieves getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marco Helguera hit a great ball. Donatello Galego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Carlomagno Mezquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Anieves getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Belarmo Dellasierra hit a great ball. Amador Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlomagno Mezquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eskuin Cambero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anieves's supporters rose to their feet, but Eskuin Cambero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincente Dorado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Romero to make the kick off. If Carlomagno Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlomagno Mezquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincente Dorado having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eskuin Cambero in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Dorado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iago Bouzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlomagno Mezquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincente Dorado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlomagno Mezquita ran back to his position shaking his head. When Iago Bouzon came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gaibor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Bouzon couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Casillas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Belarmo Dellasierra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincente Dorado skillfully saved the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Gaibor's goal looked a bit too open when Eskuin Cambero came free, but Vincente Dorado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaibor's goalkeeper Vincente Dorado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Carlomagno Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Carlomagno Mezquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Michel Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincente Dorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlomagno Mezquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gaibor's Amador Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincente Dorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskuin Cambero in the 95th minute of the match. The Anieves fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Anieves's Eskuin Cambero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gaibor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Anieves.
