Zabulón Harroyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Lillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zabulón Harroyo ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Andres Morcego had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Lillo. El Cocon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Morcego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Palanganas al hoyo's Mancio Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier De la Rosa in the 9th minute of play. Mancio Japón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier De la Rosa in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heliodoro Belalcaraz during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palanganas al hoyo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Heliodoro Belalcaraz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, El Cocon's Garibaldo Jofre tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Andres Morcego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palanganas al hoyo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Palanganas al hoyo's Mancio Japón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Palanganas al hoyo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 21 minutes, Zacarías Mezquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cocon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarías Mezquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Javier De la Rosa sped through Palanganas al hoyo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mancio Japón. After having played for 28 minutes, Zacarías Mezquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Cocon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarías Mezquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes, Urbes Bodelon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palanganas al hoyo and the El Cocon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of El Cocon booed when Palanganas al hoyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbes Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Garibaldo Jofre in the 35th minute really tested Mancio Japón's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Palanganas al hoyo's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarías Mezquita came free, but Mancio Japón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mancio Japón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier De la Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Andres Morcego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Lillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zabulón Harroyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, El Cocon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Cabanela to maneuver through the defense. Palanganas al hoyo's Mancio Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarías Mezquita in the 59th minute of play. Fabricio Lillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabulón Harroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Palanganas al hoyo's Zabulón Harroyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabricio Lillo. Fabricio Lillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Fabricio Lillo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Andres Morcego sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Palanganas al hoyo's zone, Zacarías Mezquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mancio Japón came out of the goal and Zacarías Mezquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, El Cocon's Garibaldo Jofre got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zabulón Harroyo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Lillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Zacarías Mezquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mancio Japón was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Palanganas al hoyo's corner Oso Villa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabricio Lillo quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, El Cocon's Zacarías Mezquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mancio Japón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacarías Mezquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Zacarías Mezquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The El Cocon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palanganas al hoyo's performance. The match ended with a win for Palanganas al hoyo.
