When Carlos Alabern came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Vicálvaro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Alabern couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Schalke Temeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peri Cabanela to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Jimenez in the 13th minute of the match. Raymond Alavedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Ortega having to interfere. A collision led to Schalke Temeto getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Toribio De Silva hit a great ball. Fidencio Castaño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidro Ortega. Schalke Temeto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostadar Adán in the 24th minute of play forced Vicálvaro AFC's goalkeeper Apat Leyva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Schalke Temeto booed when Vicálvaro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Raymond Alavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Alabern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Jimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymond Alavedra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Alavedra made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Alavedra in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Alabern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute of the match Basilio Puyol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apat Leyva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerardo Folch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Apat Leyva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Ortega having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Schalke Temeto got a freekick which was hit by Peri Cabanela. Raymond Alavedra struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Isidro Ortega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicálvaro AFC.
