A collision led to Maberro Team FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cesario España hit a great ball. Vicente Esperta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordaro Moreira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maberro Team FC's zone, Laurgain Bastida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovando Rossello came out of the goal and Laurgain Bastida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Laurgain Bastida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovando Rossello. Maberro Team FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurgain Bastida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Laurgain Bastida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovando Rossello having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Marin Herrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Txurialtea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Txurialtea booed when Maberro Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreto Tormes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marin Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovando Rossello having to interfere. Laurgain Bastida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ovando Rossello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marin Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurgain Bastida made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Maberro Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesario España. Marin Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maberro Team FC's Cesario España got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ovando Rossello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurgain Bastida's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Txurialtea's Marin Herrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovando Rossello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marin Herreros short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Ovando Rossello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maberro Team FC's Ovando Rossello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Bastida in the 74th minute of play. Marin Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Laurgain Bastida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovando Rossello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovando Rossello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurgain Bastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Herrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovando Rossello having to make a save. After recieving a nice pass, Maberro Team FC's Vicente Esperta tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matias Titos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Maberro Team FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Txurialtea were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
