But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaitan Viqueira couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Hurko Rua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arrosko Verdeja was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. If Gaitan Viqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Valencia FC's Vladimiro Rivera got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Sarro in the 30th minute of play forced Valencia FC's goalkeeper Arrosko Verdeja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabb Erosa struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sidney Samuels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia FC. Telo Comas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Valencia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elazar Sarro came free, but Arrosko Verdeja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Valencia FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ekialde Guijarro hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Valencia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaitan Viqueira came free, but Arrosko Verdeja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Elazar Sarro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
