Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Poncio Barrientos started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Poncio Barrientos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Poncio Barrientos came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Il Dolce Far Niente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poncio Barrientos couldn't finish the play. Vidal Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poncio Barrientos in the 7th minute of the match. Vidal Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poncio Barrientos in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llin Morales in the 14th minute of play forced Il Dolce Far Niente's goalkeeper Fiz Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Kelemen Velazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiz Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Vicente De Leon's zone, Duardo Cañadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidal Bernal came out of the goal and Duardo Cañadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, San Vicente De Leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanot Castaño to maneuver through the defense. If Kelemen Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duardo Cañadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Bernal having to interfere. Llin Morales charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llin Morales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes San Vicente De Leon got a freekick which was hit by Llin Morales. Duardo Cañadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Vidal Bernal made a huge save. Poncio Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Bernal having to interfere. Llin Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Llin Morales made the kick off in the second half. Fiz Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llin Morales in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when San Vicente De Leon's Kelemen Velazquez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Poncio Barrientos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Il Dolce Far Niente's Duardo Cañadas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Hanot Castaño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Vicente De Leon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Il Dolce Far Niente the free kick. After 68 played minutes San Vicente De Leon got a freekick which was hit by Hanot Castaño. In the 68th minute, Duardo Cañadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vidal Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poncio Barrientos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Gero Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kelemen Velazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poncio Barrientos scored 1-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidal Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
