Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristofer Pascua started the match with the kick off. La Riera's Pedro Barba got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giro Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuaco Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giro Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hector-Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Macia having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Rufio Lama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Riera's Mohamed Olmos got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Silvano Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Macia having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Giro Babia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Riera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giro Babia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Pedro Barba made a precise shot to the right of Hector-Luis Macia. Loiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zenon Castellano might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector-Luis Macia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zenon Castellano ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Labarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Macia having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Giro Babia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector-Luis Macia. Loiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giro Babia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alvaro Labarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hector-Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvaro Labarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Gala thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hector-Luis Macia, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 0-3. After a rather tough play, La Riera's Pedro Barba got a free kick in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Barba in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector-Luis Macia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loiu's Hector-Luis Macia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Barba in the 61st minute of play. Giro Babia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Macia having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Giro Babia took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Hector-Luis Macia to make any attempt to save it. After 67 minutes, Saul Colillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loiu and the La Riera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Loiu! Pedro Barba placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Monte Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hector-Luis Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Loiu's zone, Pedro Barba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector-Luis Macia came out of the goal and Pedro Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector-Luis Macia made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Xuaco Salazar sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Loiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alba Viejo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loiu's goalkeeper Hector-Luis Macia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, La Riera's Pedro Barba made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector-Luis Macia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giro Babia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Macia having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Xuaco Salazar made a precise shot to the right of Hector-Luis Macia. Loiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6.
