MESSIGOL FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 10th minute of the match Illan Marrero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavel Huzhev skillfully saved the ball. Neto Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadiz c.f's Cerilo Ladra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albi Revuelta in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, MESSIGOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Wnukowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Aniol Garay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Huzhev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in MESSIGOL FC's zone, Neto Font stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Huzhev came out of the goal and Neto Font tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rainerio Radaban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cerilo Ladra made a huge save. Rainerio Radaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rainerio Radaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rainerio Radaban to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neto Font in the 52nd minute of play forced MESSIGOL FC's goalkeeper Pavel Huzhev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerilo Ladra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamberto Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Albi Revuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot. MESSIGOL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albi Revuelta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cerilo Ladra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cadiz c.f's Quirze Ocaña got a free kick in the 60th minute. MESSIGOL FC's Hussein Cuervas suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Quirze Ocaña's late challenge caught a MESSIGOL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quirze Ocaña helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cadiz c.f's Quirze Ocaña got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Cadiz c.f defense, Rainerio Radaban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cerilo Ladra. The Cadiz c.f fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cerilo Ladra should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in MESSIGOL FC's zone, Oliverios Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some careless play in the Cadiz c.f defense, Albi Revuelta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cerilo Ladra. The Cadiz c.f fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cerilo Ladra should have stopped the shot. If Rainerio Radaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Huzhev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lisandro De Paula. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MESSIGOL FC fully deserved thier win.
