Petri Planes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlan De la Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Casas in the 12th minute of play forced ATROFIATS FC's goalkeeper Petri Planes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ATROFIATS FC booed when Los Mangas Players was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paco Casas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Petri Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ATROFIATS FC defense, Orlan De la Torre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petri Planes. The ATROFIATS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petri Planes should have stopped the shot. Orlan De la Torre took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petri Planes. Petri Planes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in ATROFIATS FC's zone, Orlan De la Torre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petri Planes came out of the goal and Orlan De la Torre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Avila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Petri Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlan De la Torre in the 47th minute of play forced ATROFIATS FC's goalkeeper Petri Planes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlan De la Torre was the one to do the kick off. Paco Casas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Petri Planes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Mangas Players. When Orlan De la Torre got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Petri Planes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jacques Casillas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Pablo Folch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATROFIATS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Mangas Players the free kick. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Orlan De la Torre sped through ATROFIATS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petri Planes. ATROFIATS FC's Petri Planes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ATROFIATS FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlo Orozco in the 68th minute of play forced Los Mangas Players's goalkeeper Quinto Vilanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Orlan De la Torre came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Los Mangas Players fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlan De la Torre couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Orlan De la Torre made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. ATROFIATS FC's Petri Planes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Orlan De la Torre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlan De la Torre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Petri Planes made a huge save. Roberto Avila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 83 in the game by Orlan De la Torre from a close distance when the talented Petri Planes managed to make a qualified save. ATROFIATS FC's players were relieved. Petri Planes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlan De la Torre in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Paco Casas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Mangas Players's Angel Ramirez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petri Planes. That made the score 0-7 after 91 minutes of play. If Paco Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Mangas Players's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
