The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Can Jofresa FC booed when Alfarnatejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brais Huarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Can Jofresa FC's Heliodoro Benítez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleodoro Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alfarnatejo's Eleodoro Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Castillo in the 27th minute of play. Eleodoro Barral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Castillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Eleodoro Barral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes into the game, Heliodoro Benítez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eleodoro Barral. Heliodoro Benítez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Eleodoro Barral made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Loramendi Toxeiro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Alfarnatejo's zone, Fructuoso Sacristán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleodoro Barral came out of the goal and Fructuoso Sacristán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Damian Castillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eleodoro Barral, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heliodoro Benítez in the 47th minute of play forced Alfarnatejo's goalkeeper Eleodoro Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heliodoro Benítez made a kick off.
