The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Cambranes Ocaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, La Manresana Deis Prats SD's Adrián Cabada got control of the ball when Silviano Dean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes La Manresana Deis Prats SD got a freekick which was hit by Albi Quiroga. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Manresana Deis Prats SD's goalkeeper Adrián Cabada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Toli Sobrado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Alarcon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Adrián Cabada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to La Manresana Deis Prats SD getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ciceron Pena hit a great ball. Marco Alarcon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Adrián Cabada 29 minutes into the match. When Toli Sobrado came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the C.F. De Maspalomas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toli Sobrado couldn't finish the play. Marco Alarcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adrián Cabada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adán Avila hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. La Manresana Deis Prats SD's Adrián Cabada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save La Manresana Deis Prats SD from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonete Muelas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bazil Colsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Marco Alarcon notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La Manresana Deis Prats SD's Adrián Cabada. Adrián Cabada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toli Sobrado in the 57th minute of play forced La Manresana Deis Prats SD's goalkeeper Adrián Cabada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Silviano Dean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrián Cabada was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to C.F. De Maspalomas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Agustín Ramos hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, La Manresana Deis Prats SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albi Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Toli Sobrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.F. De Maspalomas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toli Sobrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Silviano Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrián Cabada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leroy Bermudez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adrián Cabada. La Manresana Deis Prats SD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Alarcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adrián Cabada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrián Cabada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toli Sobrado, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the C.F. De Maspalomas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
