Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reimundo Canturri kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Sant Rafel SAD booed when Old San Diego F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xantalen Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Haritz Calvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pacho Jorquera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayo Zaplana in the 15th minute of play forced Old San Diego F.C.'s goalkeeper Renato Comas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reimundo Canturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haritz Calvo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rico Santos made a huge save. Eli Alcantara was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Old San Diego F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Eli Alcantara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old San Diego F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eli Alcantara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haritz Calvo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sant Rafel SAD's Rico Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Alcantara in the 35th minute of play. Eli Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Santos having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eli Alcantara made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Reimundo Canturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Comas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eli Alcantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Haritz Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayo Zaplana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Sant Rafel SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burni Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. Haritz Calvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rico Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Alcantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience held their breath when Cayo Zaplana in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Renato Comas's left hand side. Rico Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eli Alcantara in the 95th minute of play. Eli Alcantara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sant Rafel SAD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Old San Diego F.C..
