Marco Incera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rico Santos having to interfere. Rico Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demesio Zubiaga in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Marco Incera lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Rico Santos. When Reimundo Canturri came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sant Rafel SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reimundo Canturri couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, one of Sant Rafel SAD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sant Rafel SAD. Jacinto Vilanova shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Marco Incera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Demesio Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camuño SD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Vilanova in the 50th minute. Marco Incera made a great header on Camuño SD's corner, it was just that Sant Rafel SAD's Rico Santos managed to reach the ball for a save. Rico Santos stood somewhat misplaced when Marco Incera came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 51 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reimundo Canturri to make the kick off. Rico Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayo Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rico Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demesio Zubiaga in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Sant Rafel SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Incera came free, but Rico Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demesio Zubiaga in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rico Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Camuño SD's Marco Incera in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sant Rafel SAD's goalie prevented a goal. If Demesio Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Incera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Marco Incera suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 74 minutes, Pablo Darroja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sant Rafel SAD and the Camuño SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 minutes Sant Rafel SAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Vilanova who took care of the corner kick. Rico Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demesio Zubiaga in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Sant Rafel SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimundo Canturri to maneuver through the defense. Demesio Zubiaga struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Rico Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camuño SD. Oliverios Casado might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rico Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliverios Casado ran back to his position shaking his head. Demesio Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Camuño SD fully deserved thier win.
