Cucao Alcantara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hernán Menendez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cucao Alcantara came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernán Menendez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Cucao Alcantara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Briant in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, S. E Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Barrios came free, but Xinto Ballesteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, S. E Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabi Sierra to maneuver through the defense. Cucao Alcantara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Menendez in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Hernán Menendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cucao Alcantara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Menendez in the 37th minute of play forced Soberano's goalkeeper Cucao Alcantara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cucao Alcantara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Sierra in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to S. E Palmeiras getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Valentín Pedrosa hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Lorenz Ecija kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Martín Aguilar made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zeruko Gil. Cucao Alcantara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Briant in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, S. E Palmeiras's Hernán Menendez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cucao Alcantara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 70th minute, Hernán Menendez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S. E Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Miguel Ángel Viguera took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cucao Alcantara. Soberano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Briant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Dobromir Cisek kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Dobromir Cisek charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dobromir Cisek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S. E Palmeiras getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dobromir Cisek hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milian Ramos got free with Xinto Ballesteros in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cucao Alcantara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Viguera in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Hernán Menendez notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Soberano's Cucao Alcantara. Cucao Alcantara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walter Briant scored 12-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cucao Alcantara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S. E Palmeiras fully deserved thier win.
