Spectators: 7269 (Terracing: 5453, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Veloso started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Zariquiegui SD getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nesor Sans hit a great ball. After 7 minutes, Txema Echeto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zariquiegui SD and the Escart CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Zariquiegui SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txema Echeto to maneuver through the defense. Bibiano Canyelles spun around in front of the goal 8 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Zariquiegui SD's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Veloso in the 9th minute of play forced Zariquiegui SD's goalkeeper Gonsalve Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bibiano Canyelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gonsalve Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonsalve Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Veloso in the 17th minute of play. Pello Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amor Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gonsalve Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txema Echeto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Pello Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonsalve Mendez came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Escart CF's Bibiano Canyelles. But to his dismay, Bibiano Canyelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 39 minutes of play, Zariquiegui SD's Amor Gimenez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pello Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pello Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txema Echeto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amor Gimenez made a kick off. If Amor Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonsalve Mendez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Veloso's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Zariquiegui SD's Txema Echeto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 60 in the game by Txema Echeto from a close distance when the talented Pello Sánchez managed to make a qualified save. Escart CF's players were relieved. Chico Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zariquiegui SD booed when Escart CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 68 in the game by Txema Echeto from a close distance when the talented Pello Sánchez managed to make a qualified save. Escart CF's players were relieved. Amor Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pello Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Nesor Sans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bibiano Canyelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonsalve Mendez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zariquiegui SD's zone, Bibiano Canyelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonsalve Mendez came out of the goal and Bibiano Canyelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Escart CF booed when Zariquiegui SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximen Odín didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zariquiegui SD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
