Arguisal's Cilio Soto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarbonin Saura in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bingen Macia in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cilio Soto saved Arguisal from getting behind. Cilio Soto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Diaz in the 14th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zarbonin Saura sped through Arguisal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cilio Soto. Arguisal's Cilio Soto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toli Jareño in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Zarbonin Saura made a precise shot to the right of Cilio Soto. Arguisal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Arguisal defense, Zarbonin Saura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cilio Soto. The Arguisal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cilio Soto should have stopped the shot. Cilio Soto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarbonin Saura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F booed when Arguisal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apal Etxeberria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Toli Jareño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cilio Soto skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastián Alacuart to strike the kick off in the second half. Cilio Soto had great luck who in the 51stth minute grab hold of the ball when Zarbonin Saura from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Zarbonin Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bingen Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cilio Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allande Vacas hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cilio Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarbonin Saura in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Ranolfo Cano lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Cilio Soto. Ranolfo Cano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cilio Soto having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Ranolfo Cano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Zarbonin Sauras short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Cilio Soto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Montes Esperta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F's Otero Castellano didn't even have to move. After 83 played minutes Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F got a freekick which was hit by Toli Jareño. Cilio Soto came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F's Ranolfo Cano. But to his dismay, Ranolfo Cano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Arguisal's Cilio Soto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarbonin Saura in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Arguisal's goal looked a bit too open when Zarbonin Saura came free, but Cilio Soto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Vilanova i la Geltrú C.F could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arguisal throughout the match.
