In the 11thth minute of the game Delfino Labarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cornago AFC's Samuel Alacuart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Cheche Gasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Alacuart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfino Labarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Samuel Alacuart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabé Jaraba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emeterio Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Cornago AFC defense, Delfino Labarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Alacuart. The Cornago AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Alacuart should have stopped the shot. Izco CF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emeterio Hernandez 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. A hard shot 35 in the game by Jaime Silvestre from a close distance when the talented Bernabé Jaraba managed to make a qualified save. Izco CF's players were relieved. Delfino Labarra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cheche Gasso was the one to do the kick off. When Guillermo Olmedo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornago AFC's protests and gave Guillermo Olmedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Guillermo Olmedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Cheche Gasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Alacuart. Cheche Gasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 62 played minutes Cornago AFC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Orbiz. Delfino Labarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cornago AFC's zone, Delfino Labarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Alacuart came out of the goal and Delfino Labarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Silvestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheche Gasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Alacuart having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Cornago AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Alacuart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfino Labarra. Izco CF's Cheche Gasso got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cornago AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Izco CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
