Millano Abascal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aliecer Solana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fumanya's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaizki Riells was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Millano Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Millano Abascal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aliecer Solana's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, one of Velez Rubio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Rubio's zone, Aliecer Solana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Millano Abascal came out of the goal and Aliecer Solana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaizki Riells succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After a rather tough play, Velez Rubio's Loreto Bajo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Fumanya's Aliecer Solana got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aliecer Solana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaizki Riells received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Millano Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Aliecer Solana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Millano Abascal. Velez Rubio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aliecer Solana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Fumanya's Aliecer Solana was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Fumanya getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Midas Mezquita hit a great ball. Tirso Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fermín Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aliecer Solana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velez Rubio's Millano Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Velez Rubio from getting a goal against them. The Velez Rubio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fumanya were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
