After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Gómez managed to get in a good position for a shot. A Ponte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Gómez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindo Freire in the 11th minute of play. Enetz Ramis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, A Ponte FC's Xosepe Aceves got a free kick in the 15th minute. Lluc Teruel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enetz Ramis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluc Teruel's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With a little luck, A Ponte FC's Alejandro Romero got control of the ball when Enetz Ramis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Enetz Ramis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Arenas Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindo Freire in the 36th minute of play forced Las Arenas Rangers's goalkeeper Kiko Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Daniel Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Tino Olle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Rosado. Las Arenas Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tino Olle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The A Ponte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lluc Teruel in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enetz Ramis during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enetz Ramis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to Las Arenas Rangers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Siro Lastras hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Las Arenas Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Gómez came free, but Kiko Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tino Olle during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tino Olle kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Kiko Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sindo Freire in the 90th minute. Oihan Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Las Arenas Rangers's Karlos Gonzáles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match was over A Ponte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Las Arenas Rangers throughout the match.
