Xiao Casado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Jubera's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The supporters of El Temple booed when Selaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fe Acarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Temple were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Selaya's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Canor Reyes took the corner. The corner led El Temple's Canor Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Xiao Casado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match, Amadeo Jubera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xiao Casado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincente Casero in the 32nd minute of play forced El Temple's goalkeeper Espartaco Clos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Amadeo Jubera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 74 minutes, David Topol mouthed his way into the referee's book.
