The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alcadio Montes during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Brianes! When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Umbria Alta CD's Quinto Olle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carles Lopez de Toro. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Eusebio Silvestre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 28 minutes into the match, Los Brianes's Bernabel Fresnos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusebio Silvestres short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Carles Lopez de Toro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Los Brianes's Carles Lopez de Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Brianes from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Atilano Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Hassan Aceves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Carles Lopez de Toro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabel Fresnos to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Brianes's zone, Eusebio Silvestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carles Lopez de Toro came out of the goal and Eusebio Silvestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Acarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eufemio Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carles Lopez de Toro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Brianes's Leopoldo Amer got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Bazil Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Umbria Alta CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Brianes the free kick. Umbria Alta CD's Jarbas Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Umbria Alta CD from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Carles Lopez de Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Silvestre in the 88th minute of play forced Los Brianes's goalkeeper Carles Lopez de Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Silvestre struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carles Lopez de Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umbria Alta CD. Umbria Alta CD's Jarbas Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabel Fresnos in the 91st minute of play.
