Denis Duran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaro Millán in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Arafo UD. Gomesano Diaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Duran. 0-1. Denis Duran came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Arafo UD's Amaro Millán. But to his dismay, Amaro Millán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Amaro Millán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Denis Duran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Garaona Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Arafo UD's Gomesano Diaz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Amaro Millán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Urbina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivón Vazquez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cantoña San Mamade FC defense, Amaro Millán kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Duran. The Cantoña San Mamade FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Duran should have stopped the shot. Cantoña San Mamade FC's Denis Duran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amaro Millán in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Arafo UD were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vigil Tormes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Higinio Urbina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Duran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Arafo UD's Higinio Urbina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Duran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Denis Duran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Duran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Higinio Urbina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 62 minute of play. If Higinio Urbina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cantoña San Mamade FC's Denis Duran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Cantoña San Mamade FC from getting a goal against them. Amaro Millán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Cantoña San Mamade FC's Denis Duran got control of the ball when Amaro Millán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amaro Milláns short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Denis Duran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Arafo UD booed when Cantoña San Mamade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaona Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Urbina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Higinio Urbina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Duran. The goal made the score 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Infante in the 94th minute of play forced Arafo UD's goalkeeper Plauto Garrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amaro Millán got free with Denis Duran in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Arafo UD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cantoña San Mamade FC throughout the match.
