The audience was convinced that Cristian Castaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrico Bacete was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcacer's goalkeeper Enrico Bacete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Medardo Galnares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberardo Macho in the 17th minute of the match. With 18 minutes on the clock, Hermelando Pedriza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of F.C.Barcelona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcacer:s goal. Bardo Gonzáles placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Garay in the 23rd minute of play forced F.C.Barcelona's goalkeeper Medardo Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomon Colillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Bacete having to interfere. Medardo Galnares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Garay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrin Bastida hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Salomon Colillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Bacete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arrosko Unzueta fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcacer's protests and gave Arrosko Unzueta a yellow card for diving instead. If Salomon Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, F.C.Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Garay came free, but Medardo Galnares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eberardo Macho got free with Medardo Galnares in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aitor Camaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrico Bacete having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Alcacer's zone, Salomon Colillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Bacete came out of the goal and Salomon Colillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arrosko Unzueta got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Alcacer getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arrosko Unzueta hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, F.C.Barcelona's Dubardo Cao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Bacete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eberardo Macho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medardo Galnares having to interfere. Dubardo Cao hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dubardo Cao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Enrico Bacete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salomon Colillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the F.C.Barcelona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
