The supporters of Couto Seville AD booed when Almuniente CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romano Campomanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porfirio Bravo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ponc Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Almuniente CD's Berto Grau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolao Cienfuegos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Porfirio Bravo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almuniente CD's Ponc Contreras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Anko Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Couto Seville AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 19 played minutes Couto Seville AD got a freekick which was hit by Iker Justo. Almuniente CD's Ponc Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Almuniente CD from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berto Grau made a kick off. Romano Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolao Cienfuegos having to interfere. In the 59th minute Anko Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponc Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Almuniente CD's goalkeeper Ponc Contreras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Porfirio Bravo made a precise shot to the right of Ponc Contreras. Almuniente CD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Romano Campomanes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Almuniente CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romano Campomanes couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Couto Seville AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Almuniente CD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
