Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Enaut Bajo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Anter Carrasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joan Pastor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enaut Bajo had several of the Santa Cruz's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cloyo Perpiñán as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 10th minute Enaut Bajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cloyo Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joan Pastor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Alejo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anter Carrasco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joan Pastor saved CE Ciutat Negra from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match Manolo Saavedra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joan Pastor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaime Pabon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Aiert Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enaut Bajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cloyo Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Vadillos's late challenge caught a CE Ciutat Negra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Vadillos helped the player get up and apologised. Aiert Tobia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cloyo Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aiert Tobia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Cloyo Perpiñán made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Aiert Tobia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aiert Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anter Carrasco to make the kick off. CE Ciutat Negra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Anter Carrasco scored to the left of an out of position Joan Pastor, making the score, 1-1. If Anter Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pabon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. CE Ciutat Negra's Aiert Tobia got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enaut Bajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Perpiñán having to interfere. Natal Carrasco's late challenge caught a Santa Cruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natal Carrasco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Santa Cruz booed when CE Ciutat Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natal Carrasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirino Sans shot a long shot in the 89th minute and a light blocked Joan Pastor hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Anter Carrasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
