Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) CE Ciutat Negra's Enaut Bajo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Llorian Sauca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enaut Bajo in the 17th minute of the match. When Robustiano Echavarri fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picassent's protests and gave Robustiano Echavarri a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in CE Ciutat Negra's zone, Diego Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joan Pastor came out of the goal and Diego Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frantzes Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Diego Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picassent's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joan Pastor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joan Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Picassent's Frantzes Zubiaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joan Pastor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Frantzes Zubiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Joan Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joan Pastor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Puig's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Alcaraz in the 48th minute of play forced CE Ciutat Negra's goalkeeper Joan Pastor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Picassent were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Puig was the one to do the kick off. Joan Pastor made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Frantzes Zubiaga sent off a good shot on target. If Aiert Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Enaut Bajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frantzes Zubiaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frantzes Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Picassent booed when CE Ciutat Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natal Carrasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Joan Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frantzes Zubiagas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Joan Pastor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CE Ciutat Negra's goalkeeper Joan Pastor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Picassent's Frantzes Zubiaga got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Diego Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CE Ciutat Negra's Joan Pastor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Alcaraz during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Picassent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Alcaraz to maneuver through the defense. Picassent played a much better game than CE Ciutat Negra and deserved their victory. The CE Ciutat Negra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
