The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hinojosa De San Vicente FC's Gabri Camarasa got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute, one of Armea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Armea. 11 minutes into the match, Hinojosa De San Vicente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Acarreta came free, but Alvito Gibert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Hinojosa De San Vicente FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Guerrero. 16 minutes into the match, Hinojosa De San Vicente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivón Marcos came free, but Alvito Gibert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ximun Acarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alvito Gibert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabri Camarasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hussein Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Zaplana in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hussein Vuelta saved Armea from getting behind. Hussein Vuelta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivón Marcos was the one to do the kick off. Ivón Marcos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Castillo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Armea's Hussein Vuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Zaplana in the 69th minute of play. If Gabri Camarasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hinojosa De San Vicente FC's goalkeeper Alvito Gibert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabri Camarasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hussein Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabri Camarasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ximun Acarreta came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Armea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximun Acarreta couldn't finish the play. Gabri Camarasa struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Hussein Vuelta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hinojosa De San Vicente FC. If Gabri Camarasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hussein Vuelta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabri Camarasa in the 92nd minute of the match. Hussein Vuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Zaplana in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Armea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hinojosa De San Vicente FC.
