Jimeno Avila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ramón Tormes made a huge save. Jimeno Avila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ramón Tormes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mikel Millán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ramón Tormes made a huge save. Joey Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zavier Zafrilla sped through Foz UD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Incera. In the 23rd match minute, Foz UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Foz UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Avila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Tormes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Bouzas made a kick off. Mikel Millán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Tormes having to interfere. Gilberto Gasso kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Foz UD. Ferran Llorca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramón Tormes. 1-2. Santiago Incera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zavier Zafrilla in the 74th minute. Zavier Zafrilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Santiago Incera made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sant Pere De Ribes's Zavier Zafrilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Incera. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. Santiago Incera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bouzas in the 79th minute of play. Nestor Bouzas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Incera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bouzas in the 95th minute of play forced Foz UD's goalkeeper Santiago Incera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Foz UD's goalkeeper Santiago Incera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sant Pere De Ribes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
