Formigales FC's Eugen Pătrășcanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luke Crespo in the 44 minute of the game. Belmiro Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Benítez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Formigales FC's Vaden Izaguirre made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Eneas Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muradelle CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Eneas Alonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlo Maestro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Mino Benítez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro Romero was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Formigales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaden Izaguirre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Formigales FC's Arlo Maestro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneas Alonso in the 97th minute of play. The Muradelle CD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Formigales FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Formigales FC.
