Malvin Nieto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Malvin Nieto might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonso Marcos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malvin Nieto ran back to his position shaking his head. Malvin Nieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mino Aceves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hermenegildo Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NEWPI's Alonso Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatello Carceles in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Carceles in the 30th minute of play forced NEWPI's goalkeeper Alonso Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Mino Aceves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malvin Nieto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Alonso Marcos made a huge save. If Donatello Carceles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Mino Aceves made a precise shot to the right of Hermenegildo Dominguez. Jerez93's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mino Aceves to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Michel Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Aceves in the 56th minute of play forced Jerez93's goalkeeper Hermenegildo Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Haimar Justo managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEWPI's supporters rose to their feet, but Haimar Justo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermenegildo Dominguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mino Aceves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Dominguez having to interfere. The supporters of NEWPI booed when Jerez93 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Pastor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mino Aceves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NEWPI's Haimar Justo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hermenegildo Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Lazaro Campomanes sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Jerez93's Hermenegildo Dominguez got control of the ball when Haimar Justo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lazaro Campomanes's late challenge caught a Jerez93's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lazaro Campomanes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jerez93 booed when NEWPI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lazaro Campomanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, NEWPI's goal looked a bit too open when Malvin Nieto came free, but Alonso Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in NEWPI's zone, Malvin Nieto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonso Marcos came out of the goal and Malvin Nieto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haimar Justo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Dominguez having to interfere. When the match was over NEWPI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jerez93 throughout the match.
