CD Torrent's George Klakk got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Barro made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gaskon Esteban sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Rosario Barro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Cuervas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosario Barro in the 39th minute of play forced CD Torrent's goalkeeper Sixto Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aranguiz's zone, Gaskon Esteban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Barro came out of the goal and Gaskon Esteban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaskon Esteban to make the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Aranguiz's goal looked a bit too open when George Klakk came free, but Jacobo Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Cuervas made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rosario Barro sent off a good shot on target.
