The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Carles Pujo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Navarro. Salseo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carles Pujo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Juan Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arotza Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Lopez in the 13th minute of play forced Salseo FC's goalkeeper Everardo Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Carles Pujo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Navarro was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Clodoveo Leyva kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Everardo Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Leyva went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Samuel Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 30 minutes, Carles Pujo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eibar Sd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carles Pujo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arotza Echavarri in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Samueil Ettori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bardo Pascua came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Salseo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bardo Pascua couldn't finish the play. If Arotza Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Leyva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Navarro having to interfere. Clodoveo Leyvas short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Everardo Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Clodoveo Leyva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carles Pujo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carles Pujo ran back to his position shaking his head. Salseo FC's Everardo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Leyva in the 55th minute of play. Bras Molina hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Pujo in the 64th minute of play forced Salseo FC's goalkeeper Everardo Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carles Pujo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Navarro. Everardo Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Clodoveo Leyva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carles Pujo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Everardo Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Vives charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Vives the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Caballero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Everardo Navarro came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Eibar Sd's Carles Pujo. But to his dismay, Carles Pujo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Vives in the 91st minute of play forced Salseo FC's goalkeeper Everardo Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Portillo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
