Zoilo Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Canal having to interfere. Hinojar's Aristides Camaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hinojar from getting a goal against them. After having played for 17 minutes, Zoilo Barrientos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hinojar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoilo Barrientos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Zoilo Barrientos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Camaño was a little too slow when Vigil Riba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Benito Barba took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Aristides Camaño to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Lifa's Julián Jofre got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Polo Solera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lifa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hinojar the free kick. A collision led to Lifa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Polo Solera hit a great ball. Aristides Camaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Solera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aya Saura in the 43rd minute of the match. Doroteo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Anastasio Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lifa's goal looked a bit too open when Doroteo Marquez came free, but Anastasio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Doroteo Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lifa's Anastasio Canal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doroteo Marquez made a kick off. Ginés Hernandez hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Lifa's Benito Barba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Camaño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Barba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Zoilo Barrientos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hinojar's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoilo Barrientos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Canal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Camaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vigil Riba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Barba in the 83rd minute of play forced Hinojar's goalkeeper Aristides Camaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Camaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aya Saura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Camaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 92 minutes into the match, Hinojar's goal looked a bit too open when Vermudo Gasso came free, but Aristides Camaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Hinojar got a freekick which was hit by Roque Flores. Aristides Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vigil Riba in the 97th minute of the match. Lifa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
