After a defensive mix-up in Iguria's zone, Miro Pascua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Barroso came out of the goal and Miro Pascua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Iguria got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Griful. Josepe Clos got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Leonides Barroso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell FC booed when Iguria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fagondo Obis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell FC's Loreto Fuster tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miro Pascua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Barroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Peli Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Miro Pascua made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Barroso. Iguria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Salvador Baños took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Josepe Clos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell FC's goalkeeper Salvador Baños, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josepe Clos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
