Santi Baños hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Firmo Huerta in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leal Soldado saved Balaguer from getting behind. Aire Odín struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Figueres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balaguer. Balaguer's Berriotxoa Balcells got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Figueres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Balcells, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Balaguer's Berriotxoa Balcells in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Cabo De Gata AD's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Firmo Huerta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leal Soldado to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Balaguer booed when El Cabo De Gata AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Guasch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Cabo De Gata AD's zone, Berriotxoa Balcells stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Figueres came out of the goal and Berriotxoa Balcells tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Firmo Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Soldado having to interfere. Pascal Guasch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Leal Soldado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josu Alabern charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josu Alabern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Josu Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aire Odín, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Firmo Huerta might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leal Soldado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Firmo Huerta ran back to his position shaking his head. If Berriotxoa Balcells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the game, Aire Odín recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Figueres. Aire Odín showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. El Cabo De Gata AD's Pedro Figueres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save El Cabo De Gata AD from getting a goal against them. Berriotxoa Balcells received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pedro Figueres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Berriotxoa Balcells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leal Soldado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firmo Huerta in the 67th minute of the match. Firmo Huerta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leal Soldado having to make a save. When Duardo Infante came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the El Cabo De Gata AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duardo Infante couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Balaguer getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Santi Baños hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, El Cabo De Gata AD's Florentino Cabrera tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Aire Odín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Balaguer's goal looked a bit too open when Duardo Infante came free, but Leal Soldado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duardo Infante took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Soldado. Leal Soldado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 92nd minute Berriotxoa Balcells shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Figueres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Berriotxoa Balcells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balaguer booed when El Cabo De Gata AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Guasch didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Balaguer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Cabo De Gata AD.
